Position Overview: 

The Vice President, Sponsorship Sales is a senior commercial leader responsible for owning sponsorship revenue strategy, partner development, and commercial delivery across On Location’s owned and operated events portfolio. This role serves as the executive sponsor for brand partnerships, driving significant sponsorship revenue through strategic, scalable, and innovative programs aligned with On Location’s experiential and hospitality offerings.

This position operates as a player-coach, balancing direct deal ownership with leadership of sponsorship strategy, cross-functional alignment, and long-term brand growth. The VP is a trusted senior representative of On Location and TKO to brands, agencies, and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and deliver the overall sponsorship revenue strategy and annual targets for On Location–owned and operated events.
  • Source, negotiate, and close high-value, multi-year, and marquee brand partnerships.
  • Serve as the executive relationship owner for top sponsorship partners, agencies, and senior brand decision-makers.
  • Collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Product, Hospitality, Operations, Legal, and Finance to ensure seamless delivery of partner commitments.
  • Provide commercial leadership and mentorship to sponsorship sales team members or shared resources as the portfolio scales.
  • Develop and manage a robust, forward-looking pipeline, including forecasting, pricing strategy, and deal pacing.
  • Represent sponsorship strategy and performance in executive reviews, planning cycles, and leadership forums.
  • Leverage the broader TKO ecosystem to unlock cross-property, cross-platform sponsorship opportunities.
  • Partner with event leadership to align sponsorship strategy with event identity, audience, and long-term growth plans.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of sponsorship sales, brand partnerships, or revenue leadership experience within sports, entertainment, live events, festivals, media, or experiential marketing.
  • Proven success closing complex, high-value sponsorship deals with Fortune 500 brands.
  • Deep understanding of brand marketing, sponsorship valuation, and experiential activation.
  • Demonstrated experience engaging senior and C-level stakeholders.
  • Strong sales acumen, including pipeline development, forecasting, and revenue planning.
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Advanced negotiation skills, including structuring and closing sponsorship agreements.
  • Exceptional collaboration, influence, and relationship-building skills across executive and operational teams.
  • Track record of leading cross-functional initiatives that deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and perform effectively under pressure.

Per local requirements and in the interest of transparency, the hourly rate shown below reflects the prevalent current hiring range for this position. Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. The company strives to provide locally competitive rewards packages, which include base rate along with, as applicable, short- and long-term incentives, growth and developmental opportunities, and robust benefits, such as health care, retirement, vacation and other paid time off, and additional offerings.

Hiring Rate Minimum:

$150,000 annually(minimum will not fall below the applicable State/local minimum salary thresholds)

Hiring Rate Maximum:

$200,000 annually
