arson-Newman University Women's Soccer is seeking a highly motivated and committed individual to join our program as a full-time Women's Soccer Assistant Coach. This position plays a key role in the daily operations and long-term success of a competitive NCAA Division II program. The University expects all employees to conduct themselves in a manner that is appropriate for a Christian institution and to be worthy examples in moral conduct and behavior for the students at the University and fellow employees.
Previous coaching and/or playing experience at the collegiate, club, or professional level. Strong knowledge of the game and player development strategies Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required. Commitment to NCAA rules compliance and the holistic development of student-athletes. This is a full-time, year-round position requiring a high level of dedication, energy, and passion for the game. US Soccer or United Soccer Coaches, coaching license preferred.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assisting with the planning and execution of all training sessions and competitive matches On-field coaching, player development, and positional training, Identifying, evaluating, and recruiting prospective student-athletes in alignment with program and university standards. Supporting academic success and personal development of student-athletes. Managing administrative duties including travel coordination, video analysis, scouting reports, and compliance-related tasks Contributing to a positive team culture and representing the program with professionalism.
