SUMMARY: The Youth Care Liaison supports the development and operational functions of the New England Revolution Academy, working closely with the Director of Youth Development and Academy coaching staff. This position oversees game day logistics, fosters community relations, and handles a wide range of administrative responsibilities including internal and external communication, travel coordination, equipment, social media support, online education logistics and college recruitment. The position requires travel and a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends throughout the season.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead coordination of team travel, equipment procurement and inventory, and internal/external communication.
- Support administrative tasks such as player registration (for league and tournaments), budget and expense tracking, and individual player plans (IPPs).
- Build and maintain relationships with community stakeholders to support Academy initiatives, including welcoming Academy Camps and hosting training centers.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the Revolution Academy residence, parents, and staff, ensuring a safe, structured, and supportive living environment for players.
- Manage game day logistics for home and away matches, including setup, cleanup, and execution as needed.
- Assist with game day social media and content support.
- Serve as the primary liaison for visiting teams, coordinating match logistics such as equipment, athletic training needs, locker rooms, and hotel accommodations.
- Responsible for compliance with all MLS Next rules and regulations. Promptly escalate any concerns to the Director of Youth Development and Human Resources.
- Coordinate logistics for the Revolution’s online education platform, ensuring Academy Revs II players (as needed) attend educational sessions.
- Manage the New England Revolution Academy calendar and facilitate communication across departments including First Team, Revolution II, Pro Pathway, Facilities and external partners.
- Special projects and assignments as business dictates
- Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company Policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPAA.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in sports
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Prior experience with expense management and budgeting preferred.
- Effective communication skills, oral and written
- Demonstrated time management skills
- Organized and attentive to detail
- Ability to effectively adjust to needs and changing schedules
- Must be able to travel and work nights/weekends as required
- Bi-lingual (English and Spanish / Portuguese) preferred
