Position Overview: The San Jose Earthquakes of Major League Soccer, MLS, are seeking enthusiastic and dependable individuals to join our team as Assistant,Event Operations for the 2026 MLS Season. This seasonal position supports the setup, operation, and breakdown of Operations Headquarters on match days, as well as select stadium events at PayPal Park. Event Operations Assistants play a key role in maintaining an organized, efficient Operations Desk while helping deliver a smooth and positive experience for staff.
Duties:
Support the setup, management, and teardown of the Operations Headquarters on match days
Assist with the creation, organization and distribution of match day credential requests
Track and log all distributed items such as radios, match day credentials, and other operational materials
Serve as Dispatch for PayPal Park Events as necessary
Assist Event Operations Department with game day preparations and any additional operational needs as assigned
Requirements:
Must be available to work at least 75% of the Earthquakes home matches
Ability to perform in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules
Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver clear, concise messages via radio and in-person
Excellent customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Qualifications:
Proficient in Microsoft office programs: Word, Excel, Outlook
Prior Event Operations experience is a plus
Strong attention to detail and organization
