Position Overview
Sofive is hiring an Assistant Manager to support overall facility performance while taking primary ownership of youth programming.
This role blends assistant facility management, revenue generation, and staff leadership with direct responsibility for the planning, growth, and delivery of youth programs. The position works closely with the General Manager and senior leadership to ensure the center operates efficiently while youth programming continues to scale in participation, quality, and revenue.
The role is operational, sales driven, and people focused, with day to day involvement across programming, staffing, and customer experience.

Core Responsibilities

Operations & Facility Management

  • Support the General Manager in daily facility operations and execution.
  • Coordinate scheduling across leagues, tournaments, rentals, and youth programming.
  • Maintain high customer service standards across all programs and facility interactions.
  • Lead shifts and oversee operations during evenings and weekends.
  • Ensure facility presentation, equipment, and overall environment meet Sofive standards.

Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Prospect new league, tournament, rental, and program clients.
  • Support center sales strategy and contribute to revenue and utilization targets.
  • Implement customer retention initiatives and relationship management with teams and families.
  • Assist in executing marketing and community outreach initiatives.

Staff Leadership

  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training staff.
  • Support performance management and team accountability.
  • Lead frontline staff and ensure a productive, professional work environment.


Youth Programs Leadership Responsibilities

Program Ownership

  • Lead day to day execution of youth programming including early development classes, skills training, and structured youth sessions.
  • Oversee registrations, attendance, payments, scheduling, and reporting.
  • Maintain consistent program quality and customer experience standards.

Growth & Engagement

  • Drive registrations, retention, and participation across youth programs.
  • Lead free trials, open houses, and community engagement initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with parents and players to support long term involvement.

Coaching & Development

  • Recruit, onboard, and mentor youth coaches.
  • Conduct regular session observations and provide structured feedback.
  • Deliver coaching sessions when needed and support curriculum execution.
  • Ensure professionalism, consistency, and strong session delivery standards across staff.


Qualifications

  • Experience in youth soccer coaching and program delivery required.
  • Background in sales, operations, or facility management preferred.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills with parents, players, and staff.
  • Customer focused mindset and problem solving ability.
  • Flexible availability including evenings and weekends.


Compensation & Benefits
