Position Overview
Dallas Trinity FC is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Intelligence Intern to support the club’s ticketing, marketing, and corporate partnerships departments. This role will focus on delivering timely insights, building reports, and assisting with ad hoc data requests that help drive revenue growth and fan engagement.
The ideal candidate is extremely proficient in Microsoft Excel, comfortable working with data, and has some to moderate experience with programming or coding tools used for analytics and automation.
Key Responsibilities
Data & Reporting Support
  • Assist the Ticketing, Marketing, and Partnerships teams with ad hoc reporting and data analysis requests
  • Build and maintain dashboards, trackers, and performance reports for internal stakeholders
  • Support data pulls and segmentation for marketing campaigns and ticket sales initiatives
Ticketing & Fan Insights
  • Analyze ticket sales trends, customer behavior, and promotional performance
  • Help develop insights that improve fan acquisition, retention, and game-day attendance
  • Support forecasting and sales pipeline tracking for ticketing leadership
Partnership Analytics
  • Assist in evaluating partnership activation performance and sponsorship ROI
  • Support corporate partnership deliverables through data-driven reporting and insights
  • Help organize and analyze sponsor-related inventory and fulfillment metrics
Process Improvement & Automation
  • Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes through automation
  • Use programming skills (Python, SQL, etc.) to support data cleaning, transformation, or workflow improvements
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure data accuracy and consistency
Required Qualifications
  • Current undergraduate or graduate student in Business Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Extremely proficient in Microsoft Excel, including:
    • PivotTables
    • Advanced formulas (INDEX/MATCH, XLOOKUP, IF statements)
    • Data cleaning and organization
    • Charts and reporting tools
  • Some to moderate experience with programming/coding (such as Python, SQL, R, or similar)
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and respond quickly to ad hoc requests
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Driver's License and Ability to come in to the office at least 3 days/week
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with CRM or ticketing platforms (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.)
  • PASSION FOR WOMEN'S SPORTS AND SOCCER and fan engagement strategy
