Who are we hiring?
The HR is team is seeking an early career HR professional with enthusiasm and creativity. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the HR Coordinator will play a key role in supporting employees and business functions. We are looking for a proactive individual, who thrives in a dynamic environment to leverage and grow their Human Resource experience. 
What will you do?  
  • Provide excellent client service to employees, utilizing human resources programs and/or resources.  Act as the primary contact for employees on day-to-day inquiries. 
  • Ensure compliance of required necessary training across various areas of the organization.
  • Responsible for employment paperwork processing, inclusive of employment verification, onboarding documentation, leave management and workers compensation. 
  • Maintain digital and electronic records of employees for all employee life-cycle activities.
  • Data-driven mindset, responsible for creating human capital monthly dashboard and updating metrics related to personnel.
  • Assist with employee relations activities, inclusive of manager coaching.
  • Ensure accuracy of HRIS system in partnership with payroll and field inquiries.
  • Coordinate efforts to enhance employee engagement, connect to our organization values, and support the overall business objectives and organizational culture. 
  • Assist in employee life-cycle activities including onboarding and off-boarding activities. 
  • Flexible work location and hours, based on game-day/event-based activities. 
What do you need to succeed?
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration or a related field (required)
  • 2 years in Human Resources
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications
  • High degree of accountability and independence in a dynamic environment
 
Preferred
  • HRIS system experience (Paycor is current system of use) and comfortable with use and learning of various systems
  • Human Resource Certifications (SHRM, HRCI)
 
Special requirements of the Job: 
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, inclusive of weekends, nights (event evenings) and holidays.
  • Ability to monitor company communications and respond to time sensitive matters with senior executives. Travel may be required - 20%.
  • Must be able to lift or carry 25 pounds, walking, standing, sitting, reaching overhead, etc.; and environmental demands -- e.g., working in outdoor weather conditions, etc.
