Position Summary:

The Director, Account Services Affiliate Hospitality Program for FIFA World Cup 26TM will be responsible for executing a strategic service plan to managed Affiliate partners, elevate their servicing and guest experience and maximize revenue from hospitality packages premium experiences. This role requires experience with Affiliates and/or Sponsors, knowledge of branding applications and branding guidelines, and experience in managing the execution of catering.  Additionally extensive experience in sports sales/service, a proven track record of providing exceptional service, and excellent attention to detail are required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ensuring the highest level of service for FIFA Affiliates during their hospitality journey and providing excellent service in all aspects of the experience.
  • Support the overall Affiliate Servicing Team with a focus on the brand and guest experience.
  • Serve as the point person for the Affiliate Servicing Team with the catering team related to all catering elements including menus and upgrade options.
  • Manage process for collection of all Affiliate catering requests, including tracking, reporting, and invoicing.  
  • In conjunction with the catering team, help support all elements of the Food Tasting for all the Commerical Partners.
  • Serve as the point person for the Affiliate Servicing Team with the venue management team related to Affiliate branding of the suites.
  • Understand the parameters at stadiums related to operations and branding in order to serve as the point of contact for all branding submissions.
  • Support the facilitation of the storage between the Affiliates and the stadium.
  • Support as needed on collection and management of furniture orders.
  • Manage move in and move out schedules and timelines.
  • Serve as the point person for the Affiliate Servicing Team on all Brand Activations within the Affiliates Hospitality Programme.
  • Manage approvals between the Affiliates and FIFA related to branding and brand activation.
  • Maintain continuous communication with sponsors to manage expectations, gather feedback, and address any specific requests or concerns.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships to ensure sponsor satisfaction and long-term engagement.
  • Collaborate with all support departments as needed and required including catering, venue management, delivery, design, approvals and others as needed.
  • Work in conjunction with inventory, accounting, legal and finance teams on all tracking, orders, inventory and reports  
  • Prepare reports on an ongoing basis for confirmation of accuracy of orders.
  • Support in operational delivery as needed and assigned included.
  • Manage team members as far as onboarding, training, and overall support to ensure success in their roles.
  • Overall support as needed and assigned by manager and/or project leadership.

Qualifications:

  • 10-15+ years in advanced Event, Hospitality, or Program Management Skills: Proven ability to manage large-scale events and complex programs, ideally within a sports or significant public international event context.
  • People Management: Ability to manage team member/s as required.  Focus on professional development, advancement in career skills, and success in the role within the project and organization.
  • Strong Relationship and Stakeholder Management Abilities: Skilled in nurturing relationships and providing customer service with high-value corporate sponsors and adept at balancing multiple stakeholder needs.
  • Team Player:  Showcase the ability to work within a team and help and support others as needed and required.
  • Forward thinking: Anticipate upcoming tasks and create, formalize, and socialize process to ensure timely and productive forward movement within the project.
  • Creative and Strategic Thinking: Ability to conceptualize and implement innovative hospitality solutions that differentiate the sponsor experience and deliver added value.
  • Robust Financial Acumen: Competence in managing significant budgets and financial reporting, with a keen understanding of cost-efficiency and value creation.
  • Detail Oriented: Stay organized, with the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks.
  • Effective Communication: Excellent communication skills, in both written and speaking to be able to communicate internally and externally efficiently and accurately.   
  • Cultural Competence: Demonstrated ability to be inclusive and work effectively with diverse cultures and international clients, understanding and respecting cultural differences to enhance the guest experience.

Travel

  • Travel will be required for workshops, summits and meetings as needed and determined.
  • Travel will be required for onsite execution and support of the event as needed and assigned.

Per local requirements and in the interest of transparency, the hourly rate shown below reflects the prevalent current hiring range for this position. Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. The company strives to provide locally competitive rewards packages, which include base rate along with, as applicable, short- and long-term incentives, growth and developmental opportunities, and robust benefits, such as health care, retirement, vacation and other paid time off, and additional offerings.

Hiring Rate Minimum:

$112,500 annually (minimum will not fall below the applicable state/local minimum salary thresholds)

Hiring Rate Maximum:

$150,000 annually
