A National Association member of the U.S. Soccer Federation, US Club Soccer fosters the growth and development of soccer clubs in order to create the best possible development environment for players of all ages. Anchored by Players First and its five pillars of Club Development, Coaching Development, Player Development, Referee Development, Parent Engagement & Education and Player Health & Safety, US Club Soccer offers registration, league- and cup-based competition platforms, player identification and a variety of other programming, resources and services.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

The Director, Member Administration leads the day-to-day servicing and execution of US Club Soccer’s member administration processes in alignment with US Club Soccer bylaws, policies, procedures and priorities.
 
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Manage designated member administration staff.
  • Be the primary member administration liaison with internal staff and key external stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with the COO to lead the creation, implementation and execution of department priorities, with support from applicable staff.
  •  Lead, monitor and execute player and staff registration/eligibility requirement verifications and other member administration processes (ex: certificate of insurance requests, insurance claims, tournament sanctioning, new member applications, etc.) within and outside of US Club Soccer’s registration platform(s) to ensure appropriate coverage and maximum efficiency.
  •  Ensure member administration support to applicable events and programs.
  •  Ensure the prompt and thorough servicing of member support inquiries via various channels.
  •  Develop and lead a comprehensive new member onboarding program.
  •  Manage peak-season responsibilities for all member administration staff, including Seasonal Member Administrators.
  •  Ensure the effective utilization of software, tools and resources.
  •  Identify and suggest new and revised processes and initiatives to ensure best-in-class membership administration.
  •  Contribute to the overall strategy and development of US Club Soccer’s member administration initiatives and priorities.

Occasional evening/weekend work may be required, particularly during times of high volume.

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU NEED:
This position requires an individual who is proactive, of high integrity, thorough, and able to work cooperatively in a team environment while representing US Club Soccer in a professional manner. Additional qualifications are as follows:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution, or equivalent previous work experience.
  • Proficiency with applicable software, technology and online registration and related platforms.
  • Highly refined abilities in time management, prioritization, and administration.
  • Strong diligence, attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Clear and efficient communication skills, including competence in providing service virtually and with screensharing.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and independently and consistently produce high-quality output in an efficient manner.
  • Ability to use discretion and handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Must have U.S. work authorization.
  • Must pass background screening and complete SafeSport Training as a condition of employment.
