Position:
The Experiential Marketing Associate is part of the Marketing & Communications department for Minnesota United FC (MNUFC), a sports business located in the Twins Cities area of Minnesota and a member of Major League Soccer (MLS), the top tier soccer league in North America.
Position Summary:
The Experiential Marketing Associate will assist the Marketing and Communication team in executing event marketing initiatives designed to increase fan engagement, brand visibility, and excitement surrounding Minnesota United FC. This role will help plan, promote, and execute events that elevate the fan experience and support the team’s marketing objectives. This position offers hands-on experience in event planning, marketing strategy, and cross-department collaboration, with exposure to a wide variety of events. This is a part-time, seasonal position, based in Golden Valley, MN reporting to the Experiential Marketing Coordinator.

What You’ll Do:
- Execute consistent brand experience by knowing and embodying the MNUFC brand
- Help manage a team of Event Leads and Brand Ambassadors
- Assist with post-event evaluations, including gathering fan feedback, tracking attendance, and measuring event success
- Administrative work such as inventory management and data entry
- Assist with coordination and distribution of promotional materials and giveaways
- Provide on-site support during events, including interacting with fans, managing activations, and ensuring events run smoothly
- Capture content on-site to be sent to social teams to promote events
- Assist with logistics, coordination and strategy of events and activations
- Set up activation footprints according to MNUFC standards
- Act as an energetic, highly engaging extension of the MNUFC brand at activations
- Coordinate mascot appearances
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience in event marketing or promotions
- A positive attitude with a strong work ethic and sense of professionalism
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Organizational skills with a high level of accountability and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedule
- Must be able to commit to 2026 calendar year
- Ability to lift 40+ pounds
- Experience overseeing part-time staff at events
- Bilingual skills a plus

The compensation range for this role is $17.50 - $18.50 per hour (non-exempt).
