Description

Lexington Sporting Club (LSC), home to two premier indoor soccer facilities and a youth outdoor complex, is seeking dependable, friendly, and detail-oriented Front Desk Staff to help ensure smooth daily operations. As a member of the front desk team, you will be the first point of contact for guests and play a key role in delivering excellent customer service, maintaining facility organization, and supporting league and rental activities. This is a part-time position with evening and weekend availability required.

Pay Rate: $12-$15 dollars an hour

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Services:

  • Greet all players, families, coaches, and visitors with a welcoming attitude.
  • Assist with check-ins for leagues, practices, rentals, and tournaments.
  • Answer phones, provide information, and resolve customer questions or issues.
  • Process on-site payments and verify online registration entries.

Facility Operations:

  • Assist with setup and breakdown of training or game equipment.
  • Help monitor and enforce facility rules to ensure safety and cleanliness.
  • Complete light cleaning duties such as trash pickup and wiping down surfaces during      and after shifts.
  • Notify managers of any maintenance or facility concerns.

Administrative Support:

  • Enter data, log activity, and maintain front desk checklists.
  • Communicate effectively with managers and other staff on shift transitions or issues.
  • Learn and use the DaySmart registration system as part of daily operations.
Requirements

  

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Customer Service: Maintain a high level of professionalism and provide excellent service to guests.
  • Communication: Clearly and respectfully communicate with staff, guests, and management.
  • Responsibility: Show reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail in all tasks.
  • Multitasking: Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment.
  • Teamwork: Support coworkers and contribute to a positive work atmosphere.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 16 years or older.
  • Evening and weekend availability required.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Prior customer service or sports facility experience is a plus.
  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a bonus but not required.
