THE POSITION Main Activities and Responsibilities
Reporting organisationally to the FIFA26 CAN Head of Host City Rights Management & Delivery, the Manager, Commercial Operations will oversee the successful operational implementation and fulfilment of FIFA Commercial Partners’ World Cup contractual rights and obligations. This role is venue based in Vancouver with a focus on BC Place Vancouver. It includes management of official sites requirements and stadium preparation of Commercial Partners activities and deliverables.
The main responsibilities of the Manager, Commercial Operations for the FIFA World Cup 26™ include:
- Coordinate and oversee the operational implementation and delivery of FIFA World Cup 2026™ Commercial Partners agreements.
- Work with the Vancouver Host City Committee, stadium venue management and other functional areas to plan and deliver the rights and obligations of the Commercial Partners.
- Coordinate stadium inspections and Commercial Partners operational visits, understanding the commercial requirements at the stadium as well as the F&B concessions operations.
- Coordinate the implementation of Clean Site Guidelines and Commercial Partners exclusivity in the appointed official sites.
- Support the implementation of specific marketing projects at the stadium e.g., Value-in-Kind, Special Marketing Programmes and other partners activities, etc.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for FIFA Commercial Partners rights delivery addressing inquiries, resolving issues throughout the event operation delivery process.
- Work with marketing suppliers and assist them in the delivery of their obligations.
- Support the Commercial Operations team with other projects as required and the venue team during the tournament period.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, guidelines, and presentations on rights delivery progress, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommendations for future events.
- Prepare tournament debrief reports.
- Other duties as assigned.
- This role requires you to be onsite 5 days a week (Monday-Friday) at our Vancouver Office.
- Travel within Canada, to the US and/or Mexico may be required to reflect the business needs of the department (meetings, workshops, site visits, other Events, etc).

Education
- Bachelor’s degree or similar higher education in Business Administration, Sport Administration, Marketing, etc.
Work Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in partnership delivery or events operations.
- Proven track-record in managing complex projects.

- Fluent in English, French proficiency is a plus.
