Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to serve as the Head Coach for the Middle School Boys Soccer team. This full-time position is based at our Central Office and involves not only coaching but also mentoring young athletes in their development both on and off the field. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of soccer, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive team environment.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement training programs that enhance individual and team skills, tactics, and fitness levels.
- Plan, organize, and conduct daily practice sessions and competitive games.
- Monitor and evaluate player performance, providing constructive feedback to promote growth and improvement.
- Foster a positive team culture that emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect for opponents and officials.
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school administration regarding team policies, schedules, and player development.
- Collaborate with other coaches and athletic staff to ensure a cohesive athletic program.
- Organize and oversee team logistics, including transportation, equipment management, and game-day preparations.
- Ensure compliance with all school, district, and league policies and regulations.
- Promote the program through community engagement and outreach initiatives.
- Attend coaching clinics and continuing education opportunities to stay current with best practices in coaching and player development.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Sports Management, or a related field preferred.
- Previous coaching experience, particularly at the middle school or youth level, is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of soccer techniques, strategies, and rules of the game.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with young athletes and their families.
- Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes to achieve their personal and team goals.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required for practices and games.
