Overview:
The Chattanooga Red Wolves are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented coach to serve a dual role supporting the First Team and contributing to the Academy. This position is ideal for a coach who is hungry to grow, eager to work in a professional environment, and capable of wearing multiple hats across the club’s technical structure.
Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
Key Responsibilities – First Team (Primary Focus):
  • Assist the Head Coach with planning, delivering, and evaluating all first-team training sessions.
  • Provide individual, unit, and positional coaching to support player development.
  • Lead or support video analysis, including match coding, clip preparation, pre-match presentations, and post-match reporting using Wyscout, Spiideo, and internal tools.
  • Contribute to tactical planning, set-piece preparation, and opposition scouting.
  • Assist with gameday operations, travel logistics, and on-field warm-ups.
  • Uphold professional standards across all training, matchday, and locker room environments.
  • Ideally possess a background or working knowledge in Strength & Conditioning to assist with warm-ups, ongoing physical development, and training preparation.
Key Responsibilities – Academy (Supporting Role):
  • Coach and support assigned youth age groups in training and matches.
  • Implement the club’s playing methodology and developmental standards.
  • Assist with player evaluations, ID sessions, clinics, and supplemental programming.
  • Support alignment and communication between Academy and First Team departments.
  • Duties may evolve based on club needs and the skill set of the successful candidate.
Required & Preferred Qualifications:
  • USSF B License (or higher).
  • Prior coaching experience at the professional, college, or high-level youth level.
  • Experience in video analysis and performance evaluation.
  • Working knowledge of Strength & Conditioning principles.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced professional environment.
