Reporting organisationally to the Director, Brand & Marketing, the Sr. Marketing Coordinator will be a key member of the FIFA26 Commercial Operations team, and work in close collaboration with the FIFA Zurich Project team and other key individuals responsible for delivering  best-in-class design solutions for the FWC26. 

THE POSITION
The main responsibilities and oversights of the Senior Marketing Coordinator for the FIFA World Cup 26™ include:
  • Assist and support Trophy Tour Manager, Mascot Tour experiences, and Marketing events from development to deployment throught the tournament.
  • Manage campaign calendars for marketing, mascot events, and trophy tour support to ensure that all activities are completed on schedule.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and appropriate stakeholders ( FA leads, marketing, designers, content creators, product teams) to execute campaigns effectively.
  • Monitor progress and deadlines for marketing projects that align to the tournament goals and meet brand standards.
  • Handle logistics such as tour bookings, vendor coordination, and on-site setups for special events and marketing activations around FIFA World Cup 2026.
  • Track expenditures for campaigns, events, tour stops, travel, transportation and other operational items as they come.
  • Handle all premium items from ordering to distributing with internal requests and external vendors, to track items needed for marketing and brand department.
  • Coordinate and communicate with external agencies, notes, recaps, meeting schedules, and marketing executions.
  • Work with media outlets or platforms to ensure timely and accurate placement of advertisements.
  • Compile and present reports to senior management on campaign performance, return on investment (ROI), and recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage marketing-related invoices, contracts, and documentation.
  • Work with external agencies, printers, and other vendors to produce marketing materials as needed.
  • Respond to customer inquiries related to promotions, products, and services.
  • Be comfortable with working on several high intensity projects and responsible for managing expectations accordingly throughout the tournament.

YOUR PROFILE
  • Bachelor’s degree or similar higher education
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience in project management and coordinating large events
  • Strong client management skills and agency background advantageous
  • Demonstrated excellent communication and organization skills
  • Experience in entertainment, agency or sport advantageous
  • Experience working in organizations with international offices/staff
  • Mid-level management experience
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Proficient in Project Management tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project, Teams) and planning software 
  • Outlook Email, scheduling,  and online collaboration tools.
