THE POSITION
Reporting organisationally to the Head of Workforce Management, the main responsibilities and oversights of the Senior Uniforms Manager for the FIFA World Cup 2026™ include:
  • Ensure all FIFA client groups understand and have uniform according to the Uniform Usage and Eligibility Matrix, including FIFA President and Secretary General, FIFA Council, FIFA Zurich Staff and Freelancers and Local Entity staff.
  • Work in close collaboration with the FIFA Zurich Uniforms/Workforce Teams to create and manage the end-to-end uniforms strategy for FWC2026.
  • Manage the production of uniforms, from concept to distribution for FIFA formalwear, business casual and casual event-branded uniforms depending on the tournament/event and manage the uniform stock levels at Home of FIFA (HoF)
  • Working with the wider Workforce team, look at specific headcounts and make orders, based on sizing curves according to these numbers
  • Communicate the agreed Uniform Guidelines, and Usage Policy for each FIFA tournament and event and key deadlines to align with shipping dates.
  • Assist with development of relevant technology systems to manage inventory, stock levels, ordering and ad-hoc requests from all client groups considering the integration with central systems such as IFES.
  • Oversee a uniform budget, including creating accurate forecasts for each FIFA tournament and event
  • Create purchase requests and follow up/track all invoicing and payments
  • Conduct due diligence, along with other Uniform colleagues, to ensure potential suppliers are suitable partners and capable of delivering the contract requirements.
  • Assist in managing the relationship with external uniform supplier, ensuring compliance in line with Framework Agreement and enforcing contractual obligations.
  • Responsible for the onsite management and distribution of all uniforms both in Miami and in host cities/other Headquarter offices where required, including contracting local suppliers and tailors, creating operational plans, and management of onsite teams where applicable.
  • Manage the dissolution of unused items either through future internal use or donation.
  • Ensure the uniform guidelines are upheld and enforced across all client groups and escalating to senior management team as required.
  • Cross-team working specifically with FIFA’s in-house Event Logistics team and multiple other stakeholders across the 3 FWC2026 entities.
  • Close coordination with other FA’s that are involved with or represent stakeholders in the uniform projects, including working with Media & Partnerships regarding VIK opportunities.
  • Liaise and collaborate with other Uniform colleagues and the wider Workforce team to ensure a consistent approach and delivery
  • Other duties as necessary to ensure the smooth running of the Uniform operations.
  • Budget Management
  • Travel required before and during tournaments and events in the lead up to the FWC2026.
  • Shift work required during the delivery of the tournament.

Education & Qualifications 
  • Undergraduate degree, specialization in business, fashion buying, supply chain management or other related field.
  • Project Management certification is a bonus 
Work Experience 
  • Knowledge of event planning and event project management processes is essential
  • Proven track record in administering uniform projects across complex quantity structures both from initial production through to distribution and dissolution.
  • Astute project management skills – able to manage conflicting deadlines and mobilize contingency plans quickly.
  • Planning and management of complex budgets
  • Management of uniform supply chain, definite plus 
Languages 
  • Fluent in English. Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plus 
Technology 
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools
  • Experience scoping and using systems for inventory, communication and distribution purposes
  • Understanding of IT implementations • Ability to manage multiple inboxes
