Purpose Statement: Extra-curricular activities are an essential part of the student experience. As an Assistant Coach for Boys Soccer, you will play a crucial role in inspiring and motivating athletes while teaching soccer-specific skills. You will also help foster positive character traits and build strong relationships with athletes both on and off the field.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning and execution of team practices and drills.
Provide individual coaching to athletes, focusing on skill development.
Support the Head Coach in managing team dynamics and game strategy.
Promote a positive and supportive team culture.
Encourage teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship among athletes.
Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and staff.
Ensure student safety during practices and competitions.
Job Requirements:
Strong communication and leadership skills.
A passion for teaching and motivating students.
Knowledge of soccer techniques and strategies.
Education and Experience:
Completion of 60 or more college credit hours prior to coaching.
