Soccer Coaches
Notre Dame Academy - Hingham, an all-female college prep high school educating young women in grades 6-12, is seeking soccer coaches with high energy, a creative spirit, and a passion for empowering young women. Notre Dame Academy is a vibrant, Catholic learning community, sponsored by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur. The Academy guides young women in their personal faith formation, challenges students to pursue academic excellence, and encourages social responsibility on behalf of global justice.
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Girls Soccer Coaches to join our program. We have multiple positions open with in the program that offers teams at the Middle School, Freshman, Junior Varsity, and Varsity levels. The ideal candidate will have experience in soccer and a strong commitment to helping student-athletes develop their skills, confidence, and love for the sport. This role involves planning and leading training sessions, preparing the team for games and competitions, and fostering a positive environment that emphasizes teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
Responsibilities
•Develop and implement effective practice plans.
•Teach fundamental and advanced soccer techniques, including passing, shooting, dribbling, game strategies, and game awareness.
•Conduct regular practices to build strength, agility, teamwork, and game readiness.
•Monitor individual and team progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
•Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that promotes respect, discipline, and sportsmanship.
•Communicate clearly with parents and guardians regarding schedules, team expectations, and athlete progress.
•Ensure strict adherence to safety standards during practices and games, including proper equipment use and hydration protocols.
•Other duties as assigned
Schedule and Season Commitment
•Season Dates: Late August 2026 through late October 2026.
•Practice: Depends on level, up to 3–4 times per week after school.
•Games: Depends on level, up to 2 per week, scheduled on weekdays.
Preferred Qualifications
•Previous coaching experience at the high school or youth level, preferably in lacrosse.
•Strong knowledge of lacrosse rules, techniques, and strategies.
•Ability to motivate and mentor student-athletes while fostering a positive team environment.
•Excellent communication and organizational skills.
•Fundamental understanding of MIAA policies.
•Commitment to the mission and values of Notre Dame Academy.
