Soccer ~ Head Coach ~ Girls

Stipend: Minimum stipend of $4,493.00

Purpose Statement

Extra-curricular activities are an important extension of the student experience. The Head Coach � Girls Soccer provides leadership and direction for the girls soccer program, including planning, organizing, and supervising all team activities. The Head Coach promotes skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive character while fostering strong relationships with student-athletes and representing the Francis Howell School District in a professional manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise all aspects of the girls soccer program including practices, games, and team activities
• Provide instruction in soccer fundamentals, strategies, and skill development
• Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive student engagement
• Supervise and support assistant coaches within the program
• Ensure the safety and appropriate supervision of all student-athletes
• Communicate effectively with students, families, staff, and administration
• Follow district policies and all applicable athletic association guidelines

Qualifications

• Knowledge of soccer fundamentals, coaching techniques, and program leadership
• Ability to lead and manage a school athletic program
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work cooperatively with students, families, staff, and administration
