Position Summary
We are looking for a Social Content Coordinator to assist the Club's Social Media and Content Management needs. This role will report to the Director of Social Media.
Responsibilities:
- Planning, managing, creating and posting across all social and content management platforms including: Youtube, Instagram, Facebook, Linkedin, X, and Scoreplay.
- Lead and manage content production and distribution on Tik Tok.
- Monitor content, engagement, comments, and direct messages across @wearebayfc social channels.
- Manage content uploads, downloads, filing and organization in various CMS platforms, including website management.
- Produce organic and on-the-fly content at trainings, game days, and other club events.
- Track and report social metrics via Sprouts Social, monitoring what content and posts resonate most with our audience, sponsors and community.
- Collaborate with internal partners (content, marketing, ticketing, community, etc.) to generate ideas for content.
- Stay up-to-date on social trends, internet and social media behavior.
- Monitor potential risks/crisis scenarios, and notify and coordinate with Social Director and Public Relations team to define an action plan.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of professional marketing or content creation experience with preferred focus on social media.
- Strong understanding of all social media channels, but must have experience with Tik Tok and X.
- Nuanced understanding of each platform and how to optimize copy and content tailored to each platform.
- Creative Content Creator with excellent copywriting skills.
- Experience in graphics and video editing within the Adobe Suite is preferred.
- Experience with platform analytics tools such as Sprout Social, Youtube Analytics, Meta Insights is preferred.
- Previous work in soccer is required.
- Knowledge of the Bay Area and Spanish language fluency is strongly preferred.
Compensation:
The anticipated salary for this role starts at $60,000. Actual starting pay may vary based on a range of factors which can include experience, skills, and scope.
