TITLE: Facilities Operations Assistant DEPARTMENT: Stadium Operations REPORTS TO: Sr Manager, Stadium Operations FLSA: Hourly, Part-Time, Non-Exempt   WHAT SETS YOU APART Orlando City SC is seeking hardworking, positive, and passionate individuals looking to gain practical experience supporting key operational functions at a professional soccer stadium and special event venue. The Assistant will have a direct role in supporting the delivery of services, protection and monitoring of facilities, and oversight of vendors providing services. The Assistant will work under the close supervision of the Stadium Operations Manager and facility operations team. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate with the facility operations team while observing the planning and execution of sporting and non-sporting stadium events. Learn about and assist with organizing and inspecting stadium storage areas. Learn about and participate in the Inter&Co Stadium Zero Waste sustainability program. Learn about and collaborate with departments across the organization. Assist with general administrative duties specific to Stadium Operations. Learn and demonstrate excellent customer service when interacting with clients and vendors. Learn how to conduct stadium inspections. Participate in assignments related to inventory tracking, departmental activities, and other Stadium Operations initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned. Availability to work approximately 20–30 hours per week. Strong attention to detail. Exceptional reliability, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work non-traditional hours and in a variety of settings within a team environment. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Ability to attain and maintain SafeSport certification. Ability to pass a background check. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong interest in soccer and sports is a plus. Applicants are not required to be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree; however, students pursuing a degree in Sport Management, Facility Management, or a related field may be eligible to receive course credit. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Must be able to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to walk, run, kneel, climb stairs, and react quickly to unpredictable situations. Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors, with some exposure to adverse weather conditions. Ability to sit for prolonged periods as required.
