POSITION: BOYS VARSITY ASSITANT COACH

REPORTS TO: Athletic Director/HS Principal 


The Boys Soccer Varsity Assistant Coach at Abby Kelley Foster Charter Public School for the SY 2026-2027 fall athletic season is a vital component of our athletic program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Program Leadership: Organize tryouts, lead practice sessions, and supervise student-athletes before, during, and after games.
  • Technical Instruction: Teach and refine sport fundamentals, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure all athletes have current medical physicals and guarantee strict adherence to MIAA and school athletic rules.
  • Operations: Maintain inventory and care of team equipment and uniforms.
  • Collaboration: Work closely and stay in close communication with the Head Coach and Athletic Director regarding all aspects of the program.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a soccer player or coach is preferred.
  • School employee status is preferred.

Stipend Details

  • Position/Activity: Boys Soccer Varsity Assistant Coach
  • Stipend Amount: $2,500 (gross, pre-tax)
  • Stipend Period: August 2026 through end of athletic season
  • Payment Schedule: Paid in one installment on 11/27/2026 ($2,500)


This stipend is a flat-rate amount and not based on hourly work unless otherwise required by applicable law or the terms of a specific grant.
