Ticket Operations Manager

Charleston Battery | Full-Time | On-Site (Required) – Mount Pleasant, SC

Position Overview

The Charleston Battery is seeking a detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and data-driven Ticket Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of the club’s day-to-day ticketing operations. This role is essential to delivering a seamless fan experience and will serve as the primary liaison with our official ticketing partner, SeatGeek.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, manages multiple tasks with precision, and brings a proactive, problem-solving mindset. This role will be responsible for event builds, inventory management, promotions, reporting, box office operations, and customer support for fans experiencing ticketing issues.

Key Responsibilities

(Including but not limited to):
Ticket Operations
  • Lead all aspects of ticketing operations in SeatGeek/Unify, including event builds, inventory management, promotional link creation, and ongoing reporting.
  • Ensure the club fully leverages SeatGeek’s platform features, including product updates, to align with business goals and maximize efficiency.
  • Build and maintain tools that support sales and marketing efforts—such as group and promo links, branded storefronts, lead lists, and dashboards.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for fan support, resolving ticket access issues via email, phone, and in person.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline ticketing initiatives and identify opportunities for automation and optimization.
  • Own and manage ticketing data, ensuring accuracy and visibility across departments.
  • Generate and distribute reports that provide insights into:
    • Sales performance
    • Audience segmentation and behavior
    • Promotional effectiveness
  • Manage the end-to-end ticket request and fulfillment process, ensuring prompt and accurate delivery and access.

Game Day & Event Support
  • Oversee match-day box office operations, including setup, staffing, ticket sales, troubleshooting, and guest service.
  • Provide real-time ticketing and tech support to ensure a smooth event-day experience for fans.
  • Support post-event reconciliation and auditing of ticketing data.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in ticket operations (preferably in sports or live events).
  • Hands-on experience with SeatGeek/Unify or similar ticketing platforms.
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce); HubSpot experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task with high attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Gmail, Slides, etc.).
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in accordance with the match schedule.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a team-oriented and collaborative mindset.
  • Calm and solutions-focused under pressure, especially on event days.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with SeatGeek, Unify, and/or SRO platforms
  • Background in ticket sales, operations, or fan engagement
  • Bilingual (Spanish preferred) to support a more inclusive fan experience
