Wilmington, Ohio, Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach

Basic Function:

This position is responsible for assisting with the development, leadership and administration of all aspects of a successful NCAA Division III men’s soccer program.

Reports to:Head Men’s Soccer Coach

Duties and Responsibilities:

*.Assists in the recruitment of quality student-athletes while maintaining roster expectations

* Maintains awareness of and adheres to College, NCAA and OAC rules and regulations

* Assists in monitoring the academic progress of student-athletes

* Assists in practice to optimize team and individual skill development

* Assists in scheduling home and away contests

* Assists in coordinating travel and assists supervising team members during off-campus travel

* Assists in fundraising initiatives that support the program’s budget

* Performs secondary duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics

Qualifications:

* Related bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of college or related coaching experience.

* Evidence of excellent coaching and organizational skills.

* Demonstrated ability to recruit and retain quality student-athletes.

* Ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with a diverse population.
