We're looking for a passionate and dynamic individual to join our team as a Community Relations Coordinator. This role is a fantastic opportunity to be the face of the Chattanooga Red Wolves in our community, helping us build meaningful relationships and connect directly with our fans. You'll play a vital part in bringing the excitement of our club beyond the field, from engaging with fans at events to helping our players make an impact in the community.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and execute club-related community outreach programs and events.
- Manage and schedule player appearances for fan events, community initiatives, and sponsor activations.
- Develop and implement fan engagement activities for both game-day and non-game-day events.
- Assist with the coordination and activation of sponsor and advertisement campaigns, ensuring a positive fan experience.
- Support the social media team by creating and contributing content that highlights community events, player appearances, and fan interactions.
- Remain in alignment with the Red Wolves Foundation and put forth various initiatives and strategies to maximize involvement
Minimum Requirements:
- A strong passion for soccer and a genuine enthusiasm for community building.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a keen ability to connect with diverse groups of people.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability to work some evenings and weekends during the soccer season as required by events and appearances.
- Proficiency in using social media platforms for content creation and engagement.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in community outreach, event planning, or public relations.
- Experience in sports management or working with a sports organization.
- Familiarity with the Chattanooga community and a strong desire to make a positive local impact.
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing and social media trends.
