Main Activities and Responsibilities Reporting organisationally to the Head of Dressing and Signage, with day-to-day reporting to the Senior Manager and Tournament Operations Centre staff, the Dressing and Signage Venue Manager will be a key member of the FIFA26 Dressing and Signage team, working in close collaboration with the wider HQ team, cluster managers suppliers, venue staff and other key individuals to ensure the FIFA World Cup 2026™ Dressing and Signage project is delivered to the highest possible standard.
The main responsibilities and oversights of the Dressing and Signage Venue Manager for the FIFA World Cup 26™ include:
- As a key member and ambassador for FIFA and the Dressing and Signage team, contributing to a world-class dressing and signage programme.
- Responsible for delivering the full dressing and signage implementation at the assigned stadium.
- Requirement to travel to off-site non-stadium venues to oversee Dressing and Signage installation as and when required.
- Attending daily meetings with the venue staff and providing daily reports to the Dressing and Signage management team.
- Managing supplier scheduling and workloads in collaboration with other key functional areas.
- Be the key contact on-site for all other functional areas while answering queries and dealing with requests when they arise.
- Liaising with site owners and operators as required to gain approval on implementation plans.
- Troubleshooting on-site issues and ensuring problems are solved efficiently and effectively with assistance from all stakeholders including Operations Centre representatives.
- Quality controlling all installations carried out by suppliers at each assigned site and reporting issues promptly to senior members of the team.
- Ensuring all scheduled installations are carried out on-schedule and to the agreed standard.
- Overseeing wayfinding installations at each assigned venue and ensuring each wayfinding journey is logical and ensures operational efficiency for the event.
- Distributing signage requested by other functional areas and offering assistance and/or advice for the installation of such signage.
- Inputting late or additional requests into change-control and actioning requests once approved.
- On-site attendance at the assigned venues for every installation day, match day, decommission day and other days as agreed with senior members of the team.
- Contribution to project management and knowledge management initiatives including event debriefs, and knowledge capture and documentation activities.

Work Experience
- Ideally minimum of 2 years of tangible experience in delivering dressing and signage projects and/or relevant operational experience working on events of a similar scale to FIFA World Cup 2026 (e.g. previous FIFA World Cups, Olympic Games etc.).
- Ideally, an understanding of the technical aspects of delivering dressing and signage projects (i.e. production methods, installation techniques, materials etc.)
- Experience in managing experienced service providers for world-class events or projects.
- Knowledge of event planning, requirements and event project management processes for large sporting events.
- Experience in the development and integration of operational plans.
- Significant Stakeholder Management experience across multiple organisations and departments.
Languages
- Fluent English (written and spoken) required. (understanding of French & Spanish considered an asset)
- Fluent in Spanish when applying for Mexico (proficient also in English)
Technology
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools
