Chicago Fire Football Club is a Major League Soccer team that was founded in 1997. Under new ownership, the Club recently announced plans to build a $650M+ privately financed downtown stadium in Chicago in 2028. The stadium will anchor Chicago’s newest neighborhood, the 78, a 62-acre development and entertainment district located along the Chicago River just south of Roosevelt Road. Position Overview: 

Chicago Fire Football Club is seeking a Manager, Premium Hospitality to join the organization this Fall and play a starring role in selling our new stadium opening in 2028. This position will be responsible for driving significant contractual revenue across a diverse set of premium products to Chicagoland businesses, C-levels, and high-net worth individuals. In addition to helping current clients secure premium seating, you’ll execute a sophisticated outbound new business campaign across the region. You’ll receive best-in-class sales training, coaching, innovative tools, and technology to surpass sales targets as you utilize a world-class preview center scheduled to open in Winter 2025-26.

 

Job Responsibilities:

Reporting to the new stadium premium leadership team, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to:

  • Generate significant premium revenue by successfully prospecting, pitching, and closing comprehensive six and seven figure agreements to current clients, C-Level executives and/or key decision makers of corporations, and high net worth individuals.
  • Sell a full menu of premium hospitality products including suites, loges/living room boxes, tunnel club, and club seats via outbound calls, emails, face-to-face appointments, sales center presentations, and stadium tours. 
  • Execute and lead dynamic sales presentations, face-to-face appointments, and sales events at a world-class new stadium preview center opening in Winter 2025-26.  
  • Represent Chicago Fire FC at home matches, local networking, community, and corporate events to generate awareness, excitement, and sales leads throughout Chicagoland.
  • Work closely with the Chicago Fire FC membership and premium service team to ensure clients receive superior service and complete fulfillment of every contract detail.
  • Consistently and effectively manage a robust sales pipeline while providing updates and forecasts to management.
  • Utilizes CRM system to consistently manage accounts, pipelines, and touchpoint activity while following sales processes diligently.
  • Exceed daily, weekly, and annual individual sales goals and meeting targets.
  • Clearly and effectively communicate personally and professionally within all levels of a company, both internally and externally.
  • Completion of other duties as assigned with a team-player mindset.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of three plus (5+) years in sales experience; prior experience selling six and seven figure premium hospitality deals in sports & entertainment is strongly preferred.
  • History of top premium/B2B revenue production for a sport and/or entertainment organization.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral.
  • Exceptional organization, time management, and pipeline management skills.
  • Skilled in setting and running sales meetings, with ability to effectively pitch and present premium products. 
  • Deep knowledge of the corporate sector and demonstrated ability to build meaningful relationships with key stakeholders in the market.
  • Must be able to work collaboratively across all departments and possess an optimistic team-first mentality.
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours, in non-traditional settings, including all home games (or other work events) that fall on nights, weekends, and/or holidays

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Sports Management, or a related field.
  • Experience with the opening of a new stadium or arena, including selling multi-year lease products.
  • Experience with corporate sales in the Chicagoland area.
  • Local market community and corporate knowledge.

 

Compensation:

  • This role offers a salary range of $90,000.00 - $100,000.00
  • Final salary is determined by carefully considering the applicant's background, experience, and qualifications. Base pay may vary significantly based on geographic location, job-specific knowledge, skills, and overall experience. This role is classified as Full-time, exempt
  • This role is commission and bonus eligible based on individual and club-wide goals
